Previously known as the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers, the IAPEG is the only international association dedicated to working with groomers, bathers, and pet salon owners who want to bring more creativity and responsibility to their profession, pleasing pets and their owners alike with the best care, supported by science.
More than just grooming
When Bullet Brown—the founder of the International Association of Professional Esthetic Groomers—started working as a veterinary technician, she had a plan. She was going to give a voice to the voiceless and help animals live longer, healthier, happier lives.
And while Bullet is no longer a vet tech, she has found a way to reach more pets, more people, and make a bigger impact on the world of canine and feline care through the IAPEG.
The IAPEG offers groomers and pet salon owners the opportunity to properly educate themselves regarding skin care, fur and hair management, chemical usage, and diet, as well as the only comprehensive creative certification program centering around the science and safety of creative grooming.
First intended to center around the safety of creative grooming, we now offer higher levels of education in Salon Esthetics, business operations, anatomy, breed standards, behavior/handling, and more.
No matter the topic, all IAPEG education revolves around the safety and well-being of the pets we are entrusted with.
